Curves, Cleavage and the Kardashians

Work off the calories, but not your curves.

J.Lo started it but the Kardashian sisters have taken it to a whole new level. The sisters have given a new perspective on how to stay healthy and fit while also staying sane and sexy.

Kim and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney have given hope to curvy women around the world by promoting a new body type -- one that is more realistic.


In an article from Life & Style, the sisters share what works for them when they are trying to lose weight; And more than that, they admit that they are human and indulge themselves in their favorite treats.

While Kim has always had favorite fitness routines, we all know that the hardest part can be motivation. What's helped Kim and Khloé is discovering how a bit of encouragement can go a long way. Tip One: Working out doesn't have to be a burden. Make it fun by bringing a buddy.

Two weeks ago, viewers watched Kourtney struggle when she was trying to lose the baby weight for an upcoming photo shoot. That episode of Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian Take Miami might have been the most crucial one for women to watch.

Kourtney goes to extreme lengths to get in shape. She is so consumed by the idea of "getting thin" that she doesn't realize that she's worrying everyone around her. Luckily, she has a supportive sister to get her on the right track.

Tip Two: Know your limits. If you are 130lbs and have curves like Kim, don't try to work yourself to fit into a size 0. It's not going to happen. Instead, work on taming those curves with weight or strength training.

The final step in your fitness routine should be fashion. Not everyone is going to see what's underneath your clothes, so make sure they are paying attention by always dressing to impress.

I give this award to Kim; She is always so confident in flaunting her curves, cleavage and size that you would never know she had weight issues before. And that's because she's stopped obsessing and started flaunting.

To sum it up, it's important to stay fit, but it's also important to stay sane. Figure out what your body type is, keep it healthy and then flaunt it.

*****When I use the word "curvy," I mean Kim Kardashian curvy -- someone who exercises and eats right. If you're curvy because you don't do any physical exercise than you're not curvy -- you're just unhealthy. So start motivating yourself and hit the gym.
