Meeting Nicholas Sparks

Last weekend I had the privilege of meeting my favorite author, Nicholas Sparks.

He is everything you would assume the author of The Notebook, The Guardian and The Lucky One to be like -- genuine, kind and charming.

In honor of meeting Nicholas Sparks, I would like to recommend my top five favorite books of his:

1) The Guardian

It starts off describing a typical woman in an average life. When she least expects it, something incredible happens to her. When you think the story will have a happy ending and no climax, Sparks throws a curve ball at you that will leave you racing through the last 100 pages.

2) True Believer

Jeremy Marsh is the ultimate New Yorker: handsome, almost always dressed in black, and part of the media elite. An expert on debunking the supernatural with a regular column in “Scientific American," he receives a letter from the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, about ghostly lights that appear in a legend-shrouded cemetery, he can’t resist driving down to investigate.
